Terms of Use

These terms apply to your use of the FloorOps platform. They are a working draft and must be reviewed by a legal adviser before launch.

1. Agreement

By creating a FloorOps account you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and the business you represent. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Your account

  • You must provide accurate registration details and keep your password confidential.
  • You are responsible for activity carried out under your account and by users you invite.
  • Organisation owners and managers control who has access and what role each member holds.
  • You must tell us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.

3. Your data

You retain ownership of the business data you enter — customers, jobs, measurements, quotes, invoices and uploaded files. We use it only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to enter information about your customers and staff, and for the accuracy of the measurements, rates and totals you record.

4. Acceptable use

  • Do not attempt to access another organisation's data, or probe, scan or bypass access controls.
  • Do not upload malicious files, unlawful content, or content you do not have the right to use.
  • Do not resell or white-label the platform without written agreement.
  • Do not use the platform to send unsolicited bulk email.

5. Estimates, quotes and calculations

FloorOps assists with flooring measurement, quantity and pricing calculations based on the dimensions, product specifications, waste rules and rates you enter. It is a tool, not professional advice. You remain responsible for checking quantities, allowances, margins, tax treatment and the commercial terms of any quote, variation or invoice you issue to your customer.

Features labelled "Coming soon" or "Preview" are not guaranteed, may change, and should not be relied on for commercial decisions.

6. Availability and changes

We aim to keep FloorOps available and to improve it continuously. We may add, change or remove features, and may perform maintenance that briefly interrupts access.

7. Suspension and termination

You may stop using FloorOps at any time and request deletion of your account. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, unlawful use, or non-payment where fees apply.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Subject to those rights, and to the limitation wording still to be finalised, FloorOps is provided on an "as is" basis and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or loss of data caused by factors outside our control.

9. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent through our contact page.
